Mary Vandervelde ’76

Mary, a 1976 graduate of CHS, has been living in Coventry since she moved here as a child.  An educator employed by the Coventry Public Schools for 33 years, Mary served as a first-grade teacher and then as an elementary math interventionist.

Mary’s husband, Bill, and their two daughters were all raised in Coventry and graduated from CHS.  Mary has been a member of the CHSAA Committee since its inception in 2009 and remains a vital part of the team.
