A 1976 graduate of Coventry High School, Rev. Anne Robertson earned her bachelor’s degree at Bucknell University and earned her M.Div. at the Candler School of Theology at Emory University. On April 17, 2007, Rev. Robertson was named the Executive Director of the historic Massachusetts Bible Society. She was the first woman to serve in that role in the Society’s 207-year-old history. Prior to her appointment, she spent 13 years serving churches in Florida, New Hampshire and Massachusetts as a United Methodist pastor.
Winner of the Wilbur C. Ziegler Award for Excellence in Preaching, she is the author of three books and an acclaimed three-volume Bible study series with another book due out at the end of 2017.
Born and raised in Hope, RI, Anne is a now resident of Sandwich, MA. She is the daughter of two former Coventry High School educators, the late Robert and Joan Robertson. Anne is another example of a Coventry High School graduate who is making a difference in our world and who serves as an amazing example for CHS students.
