Steven Gadoury spent his entire childhood living in Coventry prior to graduating Coventry High in 1996. In high school Steven took multiple honors classes and was a member of the 81st Air Force JROTC drill team. As a member of the competition and color guard teams Steven helped win multiple regional competitions and competed at the national level. After high school Steven attended the US Air Force Academy and in 2000 earned a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
After graduating he attend pilot training in the T-37, T-38, and F-16 arrived at his first operational assignment at Aviano AB, Italy in 2003. While there he deployed to Southwest Asia in 2003 and 2005 in support of Operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom. Following this assignment Steven was stationed at Nellis AFB, NV in 2006 and then requalified in the F-16 and was stationed at Osan AB, South Korea in 2008.
In 2011 Steven begin flying the RQ-170 at Creech AFB, NV. He quickly upgraded to RQ-170 Instructor Pilot and carried out Presidential approved missions in support of the combatant commander. Maj Gadoury then moved to the Pentagon to work at the Air Force Rapid Capabilities Office to provide operational experience to the Air Force acquisition community. His involvement covered design, training, manning, and operations for multiple classified programs worth over 14 billion dollars. In the last 21 years the Air Force has sent Steven to almost all 50 states and 27 countries.
Currently, LtCol Steven Gadoury is the Commander of the 30 Reconnaissance Squadron. This squadron consists of 200 military and contract members and the Air Force fleet of RQ-170 aircraft. They conduct operational combat missions in support of regional combatant commanders. He lives in Las Vegas, NV with his wife Christy and 3 children; Nathan, Madison, and Evelyn.
